ATTEN-TION!! CELTIC MARCHES TEAMS UP WITH THE OFFICIAL MILITARY BEER COMPANY TO PRODUCE PINTS WITH PURPOSE

Launched in August 2020 by Andrew McMorran, the Official Military Beer Company commissions fine craft beers for units of the British Armed Forces.

Each beer is sourced from a selection of the UK’s most awarded and celebrated small craft breweries and we are very proud to be joining such esteemed company whilst adding a ‘hoofing’ cider to the OMBC’s inventory.

The mission to the Mess tent is not for the faint-hearted; every new addition to the OMBC’s line must be sampled by each regiment’s tasting committee, made up of a cohort of enlisted volunteers with exacting standards and discerning taste.

Our Silverhorse cider was given the seal of approval by the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers regiment and, as well as being available in each regiments’ military mess across the country, the ciders are now available for you to buy online. 

With an ABV of 4.6%, Silverhorse cider is refreshingly crisp, light and golden, bursting with the aromas and flavours of our Herefordshire apple orchards.

But this is not just a terrific craft cider that honours the men and women of the Regiment – it’s also a Pint with Purpose: for every bottle purchased, The Official Military Beer Co. and Celtic Marches make a donation to the REME Charity to fund sport and adventure for all REME soldiers, including those who have been wounded.
