St. David's Day Giveaway!

Born in the year 500 (or thereabouts), legend has it that St. David's mother gave birth to him upon a Pembrokeshire clifftop, during a fierce storm. What a woman!

The teetotal vegetarian (it was believed that he ate only leeks and water - not a diet that we can fully get on board with here, if we're honest), St. David led a simple life with his monks, ploughing the land by hand and founding churches and monastic settlements across Wales, Brittany and South West England.

To celebrate St. David's day on the 1st of March, Welsh people around the world wear one or both of Wales's national emblems - a daffodil and a leek.

Normally, special events will take place to mark the day - from concerts to parades - so in lieu of the usual knees-up, we've teamed up with our pals over at Glamorgan Brewery to celebrate St. David (and his incredible Mum!).

Head over to our Twitter, Facebook or Instagram pages to be in with a chance of winning a case of Apples Welsh Marches Cider!

Terms & Conditions apply. Competition closes on Monday the 8th of March.

Good luck!
